This study investigated a method to reduce the number of estimated compositional formula by averaging or integrating product ion spectral data commonly observed among multiple DDA data to improve the accuracy of m/z measurements. The pilot analysis using a yeast lipidomics dataset showed that the mean number of candidate compositional formulas before and after averaging were 9.4 and 1.5, respectively.
