Lipid analysis is of great relevance in neuroscience research as they have significant roles as both signaling molecules and structural interactions with membrane proteins. Here w e have developed an applied method that combines pr oteomics and lipidomics through MALDI imaging mass spectrometry to obtain molecular map of in Alzheimer's disease brain . With current strategy, we will characterize proteomic amyloid plaque pathology associated lipid dysregulations in Alzheimer's disease.
