質量分析を用いたプロテオミクスの宿主細胞由来タンパク質試験法への応用と課題
Host Cell Proteins (HCP) are process-related impurities of biopharmaceuticals. The enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay using anti-HCP polyclonal antibody (HCP-ELISA) is gold standard method for quantitative HCP analysis. In recent years, proteomics using liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) is applied as an important orthogonal method for HCP analysis. LC-MS/MS enables identification and quantitation of individual HCPs. In this presentation, we will discuss the applications and challenges toward implementation of LC-MS/MS for HCP analysis.
