Bond Elut Lipid Extraction (脂質抽出用固相抽出カラム) による生体試料のリピドミクス
EMR, Enhanced Matrix Removal, provides highly selective, efficient lipid/matrix removal without analyte loss which based on the size exclusion and hydrophobic interaction (Fig.1). Bond Elut Lipid Extraction, solid phase extraction column of EMR, has the function of removing impurities in the sample and extracting lipids with high selectivity. To confirm its recovery rate, we added standard deuterium-labeled lipids that do not originally exist in biological samples such as plasma and milk. With the standard product alone, the recovery rate was 73.5-90.9%, and with the addition to biological samples, it was 68.2-107.6%.
Bond Elut Lipid Extraction and Captiva EMR-Lipid (sample filter with EMR) provides lipid extraction and sample clean-up. In this presentation, we also investigated the recovery rate of fat-soluble vitamins using these two products. The results showed that there was no difference in the behavior of fat-soluble vitamins between the two products, with some passing, some being retained, and some being partially retained.
