北アフリカ棲息種サソリCompsobuthus werneriの毒液に含まれる新規殺虫性ペプチドの探索と構造決定
The main components of scorpion venom are peptides, which are known to exhibit various biological activities, such as insecticidal, antibacterial, and antiviral activities. In this study, we analyzed the components of the venom of the North African scorpion Compsobuthus werneri, which has not been studied before, using LC/MS and isolated an insecticidal peptide (Cw-1). The primary structure of Cw-1 was identified using Edman degradation and de novo sequencing analysis, which showed similarity to chlorotoxin-like peptides.
