超臨界流体クロマトグラフィー(SFC)と結晶スポンジ法を連結した分析系による香気成分の構造決定とSFC/MSによる定量分析

The crystalline sponge (CS) method can readily elucidate target molecular structure without crystallization and is applicable to even gas or oily samples. Recently, we have developed a powerful analytical platform, namely, supercritical fluid chromatography (SFC) coupled to the CS-based X-ray diffraction analysis (SFC-CSXRD) allowing separation, isolation, and structural elucidation of a target compound in a successive manner. Here, we report successful analysis of volatile compounds by SFC-CSXRD. Rapid and complete identification including assignment of the absolute configurations could be achieved for each constituent of a mixture of volatile compounds. As a result, we succeeded to accurately quantify each stereo-isomer of target terpene compounds in essential oil samples by SFC/MS.
