負極性コロナ放電内で生成する窒素酸化物系イオンの強度分布と不平等電界分布の関係
Atmospheric pressure plasmas have problems for industrial applications that nitrogen oxides generated as discharge by-products cause corrosion of electrodes. However, there are many unclear issues about how they are generated and moved in an electric field. In this study, intensity distribution of nitrogen oxide-based ions formed in point-to-plane electrodes was obtained by mass spectrometer. Also, the inhomogeneous electric field distribution was calculated using conformal mapping method. When the distance between the electrodes was longer, nitrogen oxide-related ions were observed in a wider range than the calculated values. This suggested that the neutral nitrogen oxides diffused without being affected by the electric field and then ionized.
