放射性微粒子の直接その場分析に向けた単一微粒子質量分析装置の開発

Retrieval of damaged fuel debris at the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station is expected to generate a variety of radioactive particles such as powder debris and aerosol particles caused by laser cutting. To prevent radiation exposure of workers and environmental pollution, it is important to clarify the dynamics and composition of the radioactive particles. For the on-site real-time measurement of radioactive particles, we have been developing a single particle mass spectrometer. In this study, we have investigated the mass analyzer configuration for increasing the sensitivity and mass resolution of a conventional instrument.
