低圧水銀ランプで活性化したアルゴンガスによる大気圧光イオン化質量分析法(Ar-APPI/MS)の開発
We have developed atmospheric pressure photoionization mass spectrometry (Ar-APPI / MS) that lights a low pressure mercury lamp in an anhydrous or hydrated argon gas flow and ionizes the organic compound using the generated excited argon gas or hydronium ion. In this process, protonation of the sample proceeds by excitation of the argon gas outside the lamp. Alternatively, it is carried out by hydronium ions generated by the ionization of water contained in argon. In the case of anhydrous argon gas, an organic protonated molecule cannot be obtained, but when an additional reagent is used, the added ion is obtained. Observation of the appearance state of the protonated molecule is possible by controlling the water content in the argon gas. Further, adduct ions which suppress the influence of water can also be easily obtained by using an amine reagent. Control of water is effective for compounds sensitive to heat, and the relationship between heat and water can be studied. In particular, it is effective for peroxide.
