Resveratrolの安定性と代謝
Resveratrol is a polyphenolic flavonoid found in grape skins and seeds, red wine, blueberries, mulberries, peanuts, and rhubarb. Beneficial effects of RES on many biological processes have been reported. Furthermore, Resveratrol has been reported to modulate splicing to produce favoring mRNA in mutation-induced splicing errors. Recently we have shown that a natural compound, resveratrol for the first time upregulates the full-length insulin receptor mRNA in fibroblasts from Myotonic dystrophy type 1 (DM1) cases. Our results provide the justification of resveratrol as a leading compound to improve glucose tolerance in DM1. From the perspective described above, the estimation of stability and metabolism of resveratrol is very important.
