In order to quantitatively evaluate the MALDI ion signal, we examined the reproducibility of the experimental values using quantum chemical calculations under the condition that the proton transfer reaction occurs in the condensed phase of matrix molecules. As a result, the reproducibility of the MALDI signal ratio was significantly improved compared to a previous model that assumed a gas-phase reaction. This model approach was shown to be a promising method for quantitative treatment of the MALDI signal.
