Analysis of Isomeric Peptides by MS/MS with Hydrogen Attachment Dissociation
In this study, we focused on the reaction of the peptide ions containing isoaspartic acid residue (isoAsp) and hydrogen atoms in an ion trap mass spectrometer. [zn + C2H5ON]+ was observed as a specific signal for the isoAsp. The hydrogen attachment dissociation is useful for the quantitative analysis of peptide containing isoAsp.
