Development and Characterization of Ion Mobility Spectrometer with Charged Detector
Ion Mobility Spectrometry combined with mass spectrometry (IMS/MS) is establish as an extremely useful measurement system. To elucidate size information from IMS, charge must be determined. For small molecules, MS has enough high resolution to determine their charge. However, for larger particles, it is difficult to determine by MS and IMS. To overcome these difficulties, here we present development of IMS with charge detector and characterization of charged polystyrene particles.
