UV cured materials are often complex mixtures of various compounds, including small to large molecules, and it is difficult to complete their compositional analysis with a single analytical method. It is necessary to comprehensively consider the analytical datum obtained by multiple analytical methods. In this study, we analyzed the composition of UV-curable materials using two methodologies. One is pyrolysis GC/MS (Py-GC/MS), which is widely used for characterization of polymeric materials, and the other is LC/QTOF, which is used as a method for characterization of poorly-volatile compounds and oligomers. The same UV-curable material was analyzed by Py-GC/MS and LC/MS, and the composition analysis results and analysis approaches of each were compared.
