The polymer has a molecular weight distribution due to the variation of polymerization number. The hundreds of peaks typically appear in a high-resolution mass spectrum. In the case of MALDI-MSI in polymeric material, it is essential to use the statistical analysis to find the characteristic region. We have applied the VCA to MALDI-MSI. Furthermore, we applied AI noise filtering method as a pretreatment of VCA.
