Data-driven biomanufacturing platform and mass spectrometry

(Kobe UNiv.)
oTomohisa Hasunuma

As a recent trend in bio-research, fusion with different research fields is progressing rapidly, and data-driven synthetic biology, robotics in bio-experiments, and the creation of research and development platforms that implement them are being carried out. The sources of these technological innovations are the data and the analysis and evaluation techniques that generate them. We have developed high-throughput microbial screening technology using supercritical fluids supercritical fluid extraction-supercritical fluid chromatography-triple quadrupole mass spectrometry (SFE-SFC-MS/MS).and metabolomics technology that dramatically improves reproducibility by automating the pretreatment process. In this seminar, I will introduce a new-age bio-research platform and present the analysis technology that is the cornerstone of it.
