イオン移動度質量分析による食塩ナノ結晶への臭化物イオン混入に関する研究
Positive and negative ions of NaCl clusters have stable structures similar to partial structures of bulk rock-salt crystals. In this study, stability and structure changes were investigated when one of the Cl- ions were substituted with a Br- ion in the NaCl cluster ions such as NanCln-1+ and Nan-1Cln- by ion mobility mass spectrometry and theoretical calculations. As an experimental result, Br- was included more preferentially in the cluster anions than in the cations at small cluster sizes. This result was explained from the relative stabilities of the Br--contained ions obtained in the calculation. The structures were also assigned for NanCln-2Br+ (n = 3-14) and Nan-1Cln-1Br- (n = 3-11) from the ion mobility measurements. The assigned structures were found to be consistent with those of the NaCl and other sodium halide cluster ions reported previously.
