ヤエヤマサソリ毒液由来K+-channel toxin-like peptideのジスルフィド架橋様式の決定
Scorpion venom contains peptides that have multiple disulfide bonds. Many of them are known to act on ion channels, such as Na+ and K+ channels. The transcriptome analysis of the venom gland of the scorpion Liocheles australasiae suggested the existence of various K+-channel toxin (KTx)-like peptides in the venom. In this study, we synthesized two KTx-like peptides (La-αKTx2 and La-κKTx4) to confirm their identity and determined their disulfide bonding patterns by enzymatic digestion and mass spectrometric analysis.
