マルチリピドミクス解析を用いた高網羅的な脂質代謝探索

Lipid metabolites consist of a wide variety of fatty acids or of polar groups, and some of them are quantitatively and qualitatively variable or oxidizable depending on the situation. To investigate lipid metabolic changes in detail, lipidomics analysis by LC-MS has been wildly applied. However, it remains insufficient to measure them comprehensively and difficult to discover the important metabolic change unbiasedly by conventional approach.
To solve these problems, we present a multi-lipidomics approach which combine non-targeted method using LC/Q-TOF MS and Lipidiscovery (in-house screening software), and targeted method using LC/TQ MS in accordance with lipid properties and the concentration range.
Our advanced lipidomics platform has a strong potential that help to understand the lipid metabolism comprehensively or to identify unknown lipid species in non-biased manners.
