Laser Desorption Ionization of Indole Derivatives Encapsulated in Crystalline Sponge
We have demonstrated laser desorption ionization for the molecules encapsulated as the guest in the crystalline sponge (CS). CS method made it possible to determine the structure of the guest and the location inside in the CS framework. In this study, we introduced indole derivatives into the CS, and both X-ray and MS approach were applied to investigate a correlation between the ionization of the guest and the presence of the interaction between CS frameworks and the indole skeleton.
