3B-O3-M-1655 PDF Development of Drinking Water Testing Methods using Mass Spectrometry Recently, drinking water testing methods by using mass spectrometry has been developed. Particularly, gas chromatography mass spectrometry (GC/MS) analytical methods and liquid chromatography–tandem mass spectrometry (LC/MS/MS) analytical methods for simultaneous analysis of many pesticides has been developed. These analytical methods have higher selectivity and lower detection limits. For the future, GC/MS and LC/MS/MS analytical methods will become popular among many water suppliers.
