Towards High Speed Proteomics LC/MS for High-Throughput Analysis.
In order to develop rapid proteomic LC/MS systems, we optimized several parameters such as flow rate, column inner diameter, column length, column pressure and the gradient program to maximize the number of identified peptides with minimum measurement time. At first we compared two columns with different inner diameters at various flow rates. As a result, higher flow rate with larger diameter columns gave better efficiency in peptide identification.
