Measurements of long-lived reactive species in atmospheric pressure plasmas
Long-lived reactive species generated by atmospheric pressure helium plasmas were investigated using an atmospheric pressure ionization mass spectrometry (API-MS). In the negative ion mass spectra obtained in the afterglow region of the plasma jets, cluster ions of O2-, CO3-, HCO3- and HCO4- attached by H2O2 and HO2 were observed.
