Measurements of Depth Dependent Mass Fractionation of Solar Wind Noble Gases by LIMAS

Depth profiles of ⁴He, ²⁰Ne, and ²²Ne were determined from lunar ilmenite grain. The so-called SEP component of ²⁰Ne/²²Ne was detected at a depth of 40 nm in lunar ilmenite, providing evidence that the "SEP" is a "fractionated solar wind".
