To promote the development of young researchers, the 10th Asia-Oceania Mass Spectrometry Conference (AOMSC2025) presented the Best Presentation Awards.
A total of 175 presentations, for which the presenters had requested to be considered for the award at the time of abstract submission, were carefully reviewed by a panel of judges appointed by the Organizing Committee, which was selected based on their academic achievements and experience, as well as their expertise in a wide range of fields and diversity. The selection was made using the criteria listed at the end of this document, taking into consideration any conflicts of interest.
As a result of rigorous evaluation, six presentations were selected for the First Prize Award and six for the Second Prize Award.

Name of Award
Best Presentation Award at the 10th Asia-Oceania Mass Spectrometry Conference (AOMSC 2025)
Description
The organizing committee of the 10th Asia-Oceania Mass Spectrometry Conference awards young scientists who deliver outstanding presentations during the conference.
Applicants should be under 35 years old as of April 1, 2025.
First-prize winners receive certificates and cash prizes. All other winners will receive certificates.
First-prize winners are required to submit original research articles or technical reports to the journal “Mass Spectrometry.” All other winners are strongly encouraged to submit the above.
Submission guidelines can be found in the following URL:
https://www.mass-spectrometry.jp/submit/author-instructions/
Because the review is carried out for the poster presentation, the oral presenter also needs to prepare a poster presentation.
Review Criteria
- Originality and future potential of the research (50% of the total points) High novelty and originality of the research purpose and originality are clearly stated. The research is useful and has good future potential. The interpretation and discussion of the results are scientific, logical, and thought-provoking.
- Accuracy of presentation and clarity of expression (50% of the total points)
It is possible to understand the main points immediately without listening to the explanation.
The text and figures are of an appropriate size and can be easily understood from a certain distance.
