In order to establish the foundation for comprehensive mass spectrometry data reanalysis, we have been developing and maintaining data repositories in several omics fields including the jPOST repository for proteomics and GlycoPOST for glycomics. These data repositories are the informatics infrastructure for accumulating experimental data obtained by mass spectrometry from researchers around the world and publishing them on the Internet according to the FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Re-usable) data principles. Recently, the jPOST repository has started facilitating the reanalysis of proteomics experimental data by utilizing metadata submitted with data descriptor papers to JPDM (Journal of Proteome Data and Methods). GlycoPOST has already started to collaborate with other data repositories hosted on the GlyCosmos portal. In addition, we are also participating in the Shin-MassBank project in the field of metabolomics and are developing a data repository dedicated to metadata in the metabolomics field. In this presentation, we would like to present the latest developments in these data repositories and discuss possible future collaborations among them.
