Integrative Structural Mass Spectrometry for Understanding the Protein-Protein/Drug Interaction Dynamics
(SYSU)
Yuxiang Luo, Minhan Nie, oHuilin Li
Protein–protein/ligand interactions form the basis of many biological processes. However, these interactions are highly dynamic and context-dependent, understanding these interaction dynamics is therefore relevant to basic biological exploration as well as to disease progression and treatment. In this talk, I will demonstrate how we can use various structural Mass Spectrometry approaches such as native top-down MS, hydrogen-deuterium exchange MS, crosslinking MS, to probe the dynamic mechanism of drug actions and protein binding induced structural dissociation process.
