ガスクロマトグラフィー質量分析法を用いた血清中の遊離アミノ酸と短鎖脂肪酸の網羅分析

Relationship between the genome and the phenotype in organisms have been studied. Understanding the state of the genes and proteins does not reveal it. Metabolomics has become an important in clinical research and the diagnosis for human disease. The metabolomics for identifying biomarkers screening biomarkers of diseases has been studied using mass spectrometry. Generally, analysis of metabolites is performed by liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC/MS). In metabolomic analysis for Gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC/MS), many polar metabolites require derivatization. In this study, we investigated comprehensive analytical method using GC/MS for metabolomics. EI equipped to GCMS is useful to produce many potential fragment ions for the structural analysis. Free amino acids and short-chain fatty acids and other metabolites in human serum were detected.
