MALDI-TOF MSを用いた再生PET繊維とバージンPET繊維の識別の検討

In recent strong demand for sustainable growth, recycling of polymer adopted in consumable product is one of the significant issues. polyethylene terephthalate (PET) is a one of the consumable polymers, which has been already in the process of social recycle stream, and re-produced to many products, such as bottle, and fiber. As an increase of this circular economy of PET recycling, a proper analytical method to confirm that the labeling of fiber content is fair is a growing need. Whereas many analytical studies of PET oligomer have been reported, a practical capability to discriminate recycled polymer from virgin one is still unclear. we will report our investigation using MALDI-TOF MS and statistical analysis to discriminate those PET fibers.
