アルファ微粒子の直接その場分析に向けた単一微粒子質量分析装置の開発

Retrieval of damaged fuel debris at the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station is expected to generate radioactive particles containing alpha-emitting nuclides such as uranium and plutonium will be generated and scattered. To prevent radiation exposure to workers and environmental pollution, it is necessary to measure the dynamics and composition of the radioactive particles. For the on-site real-time monitoring of radioactive particles, we have developed a single-particle mass spectrometer. In this study, we have conducted the performance evaluation of the developed mass spectrometer using simulated tiny particles.
