窒素および水素をキャリアガスに使用したGC-MSによるアロマオイルの分析

The supply of helium, used as a carrier gas in GC-MS, has become unstable in recent years. Therefore, there is a growing need for alternative gases to helium for stable operation of the GC-MS. On the other hand, there are concerns that the use of alternative gases may lead to a decrease in sensitivity and a decrease in accuracy due to changes in the mass spectrum. In this study, aromatic oils were measured using nitrogen and hydrogen as carrier gases. The measurement results were compared with those obtained when helium was used as the carrier gas and the effects of using nitrogen and hydrogen as carrier gases on the analysis results were evaluated.
