高分解能LC-MSおよび多変量解析を用いた土壌燻蒸剤DD塩素処理物中の未知変異原性物質の同定
Natural water containing trace pesticides may often be chlorinated at waterworks, and distributed as tap water. A soil fumigant DD ((E)-1,3-dichloropropene) has been widely used across Japan. The production and import of DD was the greatest among all active ingredients in Japan in 2014. In the present study mutagenic chlorination by-product was explored using a high resolution LC-MS and orthogonal projections to latent structures (OPLS), correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis. A mutagen, 1,3-dichloroacetone (1,3-DCA) was identified from the chlorinated DD sample. The mutagenicity of 1,3-DCA was evaluated as 160,000 net revertant colonies/µmol by the Ames assay using TA100 strain without S9mix, showing about one tenth of that of 4NQO (a typical reference standard for the mutagenicity assay).
