Prostaglandins have a variety of biochemical and physiological functions, including inflammation and allergy. Determination of urinary prostaglandin metabolites is useful for assessment of these functions. Urine absorbed in papers is an easy way of collecting, shipping and storing urine samples. We examined the stability of prostaglandin metabolites (PGDM and PGEM) in urine absorbed in paper chips using LC-MS/MS.
