局所U-Pb年代分析で拓く太陽系年代学の新展開
The U–Pb system is a useful chronometer for understanding the formation and/or the evolution of the Solar System including the Earth, Moon, Mars and asteroids. So far, using SIMSs, we have been addicted to in-situ U-Pb dating of phosphates that widely occur in extraterrestrial samples, and revealed a new insight into the veiled thermal/impact histories of the Moon and/or the rubble-pile asteroids. At the conference, we will review some highlights of our recent results, facing problem and future prospects for mass spectrometry.
