Cancer Metabolome Analysis Using Agilent Intuvo 9000 GC/MS with the Hydrogen as the Carrier Gas
GC/MS is commonly used for metabolomics research for analysis of various compounds such as amino acids, organic acids, lipids and so on. Hydrogen is more efficient in chromatographic separation of the compounds at the higher flow rate in Gas Chromatography than helium, which is commonly used as the GC carrier gas. This lunch on seminar will introduce the result of hydrogen as the carrier gas of GC/MS for effect on the reduction of analysis time and the effect on the prevention of ion source contamination by the hydrogen.
