Vacuum Electrospray of Ionic Liquid: Spray Current & Flow Rate
(Univ. Yamanashi)
oTakanori Seike
In this study, vacuum electrospray was performed under ultra-high vacuum (UHV) using several non-volatile ionic liquids and their properties were investigated. We constructed an apparatus to perform ES under UHV using wire emitter and the flow rate and current relationship was found to be similar to the atmospheric pressure ES. Measurements of ionic liquids enable a better understanding of the behavior of V-ES.
