Best Presentation Award

Award name: 68th Annual Conference on Mass Spectrometry Best Presentation

Award Outstanding presentations given by young scientists will be awarded the "Best Presentation Prize" from the organizing committee of the conference. Applicants should be MSSJ members under 35 years old as of April 1, 2020. The first-place winners will be asked to submit a paper (original or review) to Mass Spectrometry published by MSSJ. Presentations applied to this award will be reviewed by the judges based on the quality of the research, and the content of the presentation as shown blow.

Evaluation criteria

Since evaluation is carried out for the poster presentation, oral presenters also need to prepare poster presentation.

A. Originality and future potential of the research (50%)

  1. Was the novelty and originality of the research purpose clearly stated?
  2. Was the usefulness and future potential of the results clearly discussed?
  3. Was interpretation of results scientific, logical and suggestive?

B. Organization, clarity and accuracy of the presentation (50%)

  1. Was the poster well organized for attendee to understand the points without explanation?
  2. Was the size of text, figures and tables appropriate?
  3. Was the amount of information appropriate?
  4. Were the technical terms accurately used?
  5. Was the explanation briefly and clearly presented?
  6. Was the answers to questions concise and accurate?
  7. Was there any considerations to audiences other than the questioner?

Award ceremony

The award winners will be announced at the award ceremony that will be held from 16:45 on May 13 at Room A.
