Silver deposition surface assisted laser desorption/ionization imaging mass spectrometry on polymer additive in synthetic polymers.

Imaging mass spectrometry on polymer additives in synthetic polymer using silver deposition SALDI was investigated. Thin films of Polystyrene 2550, 5000, 10000 including 0, 0.1 and 1% IRGANOX1010 were analyzed. Sensitivity of IRGANOX1010 for 50μm pixel size imaging mass spectrometry will be discussed. We also compared the result with conventional MALDI-IMS using spray method.
