Development of Multiple Imaging of Elements and Biomolecules by Laser ablation-ICP-MS and MALDI-MS

Imaging of elements and biomolecules obtained by laser ablation-ICP-MS and MALDI-MS techniques can provide piercing information concerning the elemental metabolism. In this study, we have developed analytical protocol for imaging of elements and metabolites obtained from an identical section of the biological tissue samples. Details of the analytical procedure, together with the cross talk of these techniques will be described in this talk.
