Short Abstract: Motopsin, which is one of serine proteases in the brain, modulates social behavior. We analyzed amino acids in the serum of motopsin KO mice to investigate a relationship between the concentration of amino acids and social behavior using a reversed-phase separation mode and an electrospray ionization mode of the liquid chromatography/mass spectrometry (LC/MS). In the comparison of the concentration of amino acids between motopsin homozygous (KO) and heterozygous (Het) knockout mice, differences in their concentrations and distributions of individual amino acids according to their genotype and gender have been proved.
