Development of fast-readout data integration system for imaging of NPs using LA-ICPMS technique
Signal detection and integration system for transient signals produced by small particles have been developed for the laser ablation-ICP-mass spectrometry. To achieve this, combination of high sensitivity electron multiplier and the fast-readout amplification system was employed. With the fast readout system for the ion detection, both the location and the size of the particles can be derived at a same time through the LA-ICPMS analysis. Details of the system setup and the operational settings, as well as basic performance of the system will be discussed in this presentation.
