Highly Sensitive Mass Spectrometric Analysis of Tau Protein Isoforms in Human Cerebrospinal Fluid
To determine tau isoform distributions in cerebrospinal fluid (CSF), we have addressed the development of a mass spectrometric quantification method. Here we report a sensitive analysis of tau tryptic peptides in CSF by immunoprecipitation combined with multiple reaction monitoring mass spectrometry. We will present the analytical evaluation of relative quantitation for tau in CSF samples using isotopically labeled protein.
