Every activity in modern life is influenced by plastics and many depend entirely on plastic products. Various types of plastic that were invented in accordance with their use in many fields have a complex chemical composition and it's not easy to comprehend those constituent. Structural analysis and the study of degradation properties are important in order to understand and improve performance characteristics of synthetic polymers and copolymers in many industrial applications. Moreover pyrolysis technique that can pyrolyze macromolecules into many individual fragmentation substances by heating has extended the range of possible tools for comprehensive characterization of synthetic polymers/copolymers. In this presentation, we will introduce our studies by using Pyrolysis GCxGC, GC-TOFMS and discuss analytical method of complex polymeric samples.
