Structure and characteristics of hybrid mass spectrometer – triple quadrupole mass spectrometer
Triple quadrupole mass spectrometer (TQ, QqQ) is a tandem mass spectrometer consisting of two quadrupole mass filters and a radio-frequency-only quadrupole between them which acts a collision-induced-dissociation cell. In this session, we introduce the structure and characteristics of triple quadrupole mass spectrometer by comparing with the other hybrid mass spectrometers.
