GC/MSを用いた化合物同定に資するフィールドイオン化法

The potential utility of field ionization (FI) method in the context of GC/MS-based identification of small molecules including some common metabolites was explored. It was shown that FI gives not only molecular mass information for many analytes, but it also gives readily interpretable fragmentation patterns occasionally, which would be useful for isomer differentiation for some metabolites.
