高分解能LC-MSを用いた土壌燻蒸剤D-D塩素処理物中の未知変異原の探索
Natural water containing trace pesticides may often be chlorinated at waterworks, and distributed as tap water. A soil fumigant D-D ((E)-1,3-dichloropropene) has been widely used across Japan. The production and import of D-D was the greatest among all active ingredients in Japan in 2012. In the present study mutagenic chlorination by-product was explored using a high resolution LC-MS. A strong mutagen, 1,3-dichloroacetone (1,3-DCA) was identified from the chlorinated D-D sample. The mutagenicity of 1,3-DCA was evaluated as 160,000 net revertant colonies/μmol by the Ames Salmonella typhimurium mutagenicity assay using TA100 strain without S9mix, showing about one tenth of that of 4NQO (a typical reference standard for the mutagenicity assay).
