二次イオン質量分析(SIMS)の高感度化技術の開発:プロトン導電性イオン液体を用いたプロトン化の促進
Increasing secondary ion yields from organic and biological molecules is a major challenge in secondary ion mass spectrometry (SIMS). Enhancing protonation of organic analytes is essentially effective in increasing secondary ion yields. To enhance protonation, a proton-conducting ionic liquid was tested as both a liquid matrix and a primary ion beam. As a proton-conducting ionic liquid, Diethylmethylammonium trifluoromethanesulfonate, which is commonly abbreviated as [dema][TfO], was used. Obtained results of SIMS analysis showed that [dema][TfO] functioned well as both a liquid matrix and a primary ion beam.
