5-Amino-1-Naphthol結晶表面のレーザー脱離によるクレーター形成とサイズ評価
In matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization mass spectrometry (MALDI MS), it is important to understand the process of desorption or ablation. In this report, desorbing amounts of 5-amino-1-naphthol (5,1-ANL) as matrix were evaluated from the observation and measurement of a crater formed by ablation onto the matrix crystal surface. When a laser fluence 3.2 (kJ/m2shot) was used, the crater size formed a shot was 0.23μm in thickness corresponding to 1013 matrix molecules.
