Ion mobility spectrometry (IMS) combined with mass spectrometry (MS) has become powerful measurement system for molecules. For charged droplets from electrospray and environmental particles, which cannot be detected by MS, however, IMS is not still major measurement system because of its low resolution and sensitivity coming from electro current detection. Here we present newly developed photo-detection ion trap ion mobility measurement system to achieve mobility measurement on each particle.
