A demand to enhance the throughput in HPLC-MS is required for analyzing a large number of samples. One of the instance for high throughput HPLC-MS is a multiplex HPLC-MS, in which a single MS and multiple HPLCs are connected. Recently, we proposed novel multiplex HPLC-MS based on frequency division multiplexing (FDM), and hyphenation of two HPLCs and one MS (2HPLC-1MS) was successfully demonstrated. In this presentation, we investigated about the increase in multiplicity to enhancing the analytical throughput. The parameters to enhancing the multiplicity is numerically studied. Moreover, new interfaces including ion gates for the signal modulation for 4HPLC-1MS and 6HPLC-1MS were developed, and the signal separations in the power spectrum, obtained by Fourier transform, were successfully achieved.
